The Northstars give their best shot


The Norman Northstars played host to the Yellowhead Chiefs over the weekend.

 

Saturday's game went to a shootout, with the Northstars falling short to the Chiefs, 3-2.

 

On Sunday the Chiefs beat the Northstars 8-3.

No wins on the road for Northstars


The Northstars gave it a go this weekend, but couldn’t get a win in.

 

On Friday they lost to the Winnipeg Trashers, 6-1. On Saturday they moved onto Central Plains Capitals where they got defeated 6-1. On Sunday they visited the Interlake lightning who doubled up on the Northstars, 8-4.

 

The Wild had a tough weekend too.

 

On Friday they lost against Shaftesbury 4-3 and to Peace County Storm 5-4. Saturday. They lost to Shattuck St. Mary’s 8-1, and to the Weyburn Redwings 4-2. On Sunday the Red Deer Sutter Fund  Chiefs blanked the Wild, 3-0.

Loss for the Norman Northstars


Tough weekend for the Norman Northstars.

 

On Saturday they were defeated by the Winnipeg Wild 9-1. The Northstars didn't get much luck for Sunday's game, losing against the Winnipeg Wild 8-2.

 

The Ladies Norman Wild had a little more luck over the weekend. On Saturday they beat the Westman Wildcats 10-2. On sunday's game however the Wildcats returnded the favor, dominating the Wild 10-2.
