Nor-Man Northstars have first win of the season


The Nor-Man Northstars now have a tick in the win column.

 

The team wsa on a three-day road trip this past weekend, taking on the Winnipeg Wild, Southwest Cougars and Parkland Rangers.

 

Friday they had a tough 13-1 loss against the Wild, but came up 4-1 winners on Saturday against the Cougars.   Sunday was a close one, with a 3-2 loss to the Rangers.  

 

The team is on the road again this week, with games against the Kenora Thistles, Eastman Selects and Interlake Lightning.

Nor-Man Northstars Kick off their 30th Season


The Nor-Man Northstars kicked off their season with a road trip starting in Brandon Friday night. 

 

Bryce Horning was the lone scorer in a contest that saw the Wheat Kings come away with a 6-1 win.   The Northstars moved on to Shoal Lake for two games against the Yellowhead Chiefs.   Saturday night the Chiefs nipped by the Northstars 5-4.  Sunday's game was a tough one for the Northstars.  They lost 9 to 1.
