The Norman Wolves fell twice in the season opening weekend to the Central Plains Capitals. After losing the first game 8-2, the Wolves took only one more goal to lose 7-3 to the Capitals on Sunday. The wolves lost forward Chase Bertholet to a knee injury in the first game and he went on to miss the second game as well. Length of the injury is unknown.
