The Northstars put up a fight


The Norman Northstars put up a fight this weekend in games against Pembina Valley Hawks.

 

On Saturday the Hawks got 3 goals in the 1st period and the Northstars got 3 in the second period but in the third, the Hawks scored 2 more and the Northstars couldn’t catch up, final score at 5-4. On Sunday’s game the Nortstars also fell short on the Hawks, this time 4-3.

 

The Norman Wild faced the Eastman selects this weekend. On Saturday they lost 3-1 but they came back strong for Sunday’s game, beating the selects 6-1.

Norman Northstars Host Pembina Valley


The Norman Nortstars play host to Pembina Valley this weekend.

 

Tomorrow night they face off at 7:30. You can catch the action on 102.9 CTHM. The Northstars will face the Valley Hawks again on Sunday at 1:30.

 

The Norman Wild ladies team are off to The Pas to face the Eastman Selects. They have a game set for tomorrow at 7:30 and then on Sunday at 10:30.

Tough weekend on the road


The Nor-man Northstars had a tough weekend on the road. On Friday night the Cougars defeated the Northstars 6-2. Saturday's game in Brandon saw the Wheatkings dominate the Northstars 7-1. On Sunday they lost to Parkland Rangers, 5-1. Next weekend they play host to Pembina Valey.

The Northstars on the road


The Norman Northstars hit the road for a ham-packed weekend.

 

Tonight at 8pm they face the Soutwest Cougars. The Cougars sit at the bottom of the standings with the Northstars.

 

The Northstars then hit the road again to catch a game in Brandon on Saturday against the Brandon Wheat Kings.

 

They end the weekend off with a game on Sunday at 2om against Parkland Rangers.
