Northstars sweep up 3 wins on the road this weekend

The Norman Northstars had a trio of wins this weekend while on the road.

 

They dominated the Kenora Thistles 7-4 on Friday and 8-3 on Saturday.

 

The Northstars continued their winning streak when they faced the Interlake Lightning on Sunday, and came away with a 6-4 victory.

 

The three wins have bumped the Northstars up in the standings, as they are now second to last above Kenora.

 

The Norman Northstars will be home this upcoming weekend, taking on the Winnipeg Bruins, who are seventh place in the standing.

Northstars have a pair of losses despite strong showing over the weekend

The Norman Northstars had a strong showing over the weekend, but it still wasn't enough to beat the Eastman Selects.

 

On Saturday, the Northstars came up short with an 8-2 loss.

 

They battled for a tighter game on Sunday, but ultimate dropped 3-1.

 

The Northstars are on the road later this week, first taking on the Kenora Thistles on Friday and Saturday, and then battling the Interlake Lightning on Sunday.

 

 

NCN Flames dominate over the weekend

The NCN Flames dominated on Saturday against the Norway House Northstars, including a 15-1 win.

 

The Flames will be playing the Peguis Juniors this upcoming weekend on the road.

The Norman Northstars struggled yet again this past weekend, this time against the Winnipeg Wild.

 

The Northstars lost 9-1 on Saturday and 8-2 on Sunday.

 

The last place Northstars will be taking on the seventh place Eastman Selects at home this coming weekend.

Flames claim a pair of victories this weekend at home

The NCN Flames were at home this past weekend with a pair of games against the OCN storm.

 

On Friday, the Flames won 7-5 at the TRCC, and they were able to keep energy going on Saturday with a 6-3 win to wrap up their weekend.

 

The Flames will be on the road this upcoming weekend against the Norway House Northstars.

Northstars lose 3 games this weekend

The Norman Northstars started their new year off on the road three loses.

 

The Northstars lost against the ninth place Central Plains Capitals 9-4 on Friday.

 

They were then outplayed in a pair of games against the Southwest Cougars on Saturday and Sunday.

 

The Northstars will be home this weekend against the Winnipeg Wild at the TRCC, with Saturday's game starting at 7:30 p.m, and Sunday's puck drop is at 1:30 p.m.

NCN Flames are at home this weekend

The Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation Flames are at home this weekend with a pair of games against the Opaskwayak Cree Nation Storm.

 

Tonight they're at the Gilbert McDonald Arena, with the puck drop at 7 p.m.

 

Then tomorrow they play at the Thompson Regional Community Centre with the game starting at 3 in the afternoon.

 

Currently, the Flames are in 2nd place in the standings, with the Storm at the top of the charts.

Northstars start off the New Year on the road

The Norman Northstars are starting off their new year off on the road.

 

They play the Central Plains Capitals tonight, and the have a pair of games against the Southwest Cougars this weekend.

 

The Northstars are hoping to climb the league standings, as they are currently in last place.
