The NCN Flames only needed one goal in both games over the weekend.
The Flames came away with 1-0 wins against the Peguis Juniors.
NCN will take on the Juniors again this weekend, but this time on the road.
The NorMan Northstars failed to find another win for the season this past weekend.
The Northstarts dropped two games against the Yellowhead Chiefs, as the final score on Friday's game was 6-2 and Saturday's was 18-3.
The Northstars came within two goals against Brandon on Sunday, but couldn't get any closer with a 5-3 loss.
The next Northstars game is on Friday against the Central Plains Capitals.
The Norman Northstars came up short once again this season, this time against the Brandon Wheat Kings.
The Northstars lost 4-1 on Saturday and 9-1 on Sunday at the TRCC.
The team is hoping to get their act together and rise from the bottom of the standings when they take on the Kenora Thistles at home this weekend.
