Alex was here in Thompson after learning radio at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Alex has a habit of being bitten by the travel bug and likes to take trips all over the world! He is always up for new experiences and likes to dabble in many different activities. One of those dabbles is collections he like to call himself a collector of collections but it’s more like he’s a magpie that like to take anything that catches his eye.

Alex is an innovator and fashion icon! On Fridays, he can be found in fancy clothes because he calls it Fancy Fridays! He loves all kinds of music and likes to dance along to them while singing (it’s easy to find him at any place that does Karaoke).

He is now joining us by distance as he has returned to his home of Okotoks, Alberta.

Jason came to Thompson from Mississauga, Ontario where he learned radio from the Seneca College joint program at York University, getting his degree and diploma. Jason has worked for a few radio stations in Toronto, where he was able to gain some experience but moved here to be on the radio! He’s a big sports guy and grew up playing high level hockey and baseball against some professional athletes. Jason roots for the Toronto Maple Leafs “I really believe its our year this year”, the Raptors, Blue Jays, Mclaren(F1) and the Kansas City Chiefs. GO CHIEFS! In his off time he likes to play video games on his x-box and loves to watch movies and TV shows. He will try any kind of food at least once, but could eat pizza everyday. He also loves comedy and would one day like to do stand-up! You can catch his Unpopular Opinions segment on Mondays where he goes over opinions you might be scared to say out loud to people you know.

Tony was a long time Thompson resident who became a household name among people of all ages.

He has a love for cooking, Star Trek, Hot Wheels, and his 2 adorable cats.

Through the magic of technology, Tony is still able to be a part of the CHTM staff and Arctic Radio family since his move down to southern Manitoba.

However, we are lucky he still comes up every other month to share the benefit of his vast experience with our newer announcers and to share a few laughs.

You will always have a chance to see him at CHTM's Annual Trade Shows, so drop by the CHTM booth and be sure to say "hi".
