The OCN Storm officially kicked off their 2026-27 season this past weekend against the Peguis Juniors.
Game one on Saturday saw the Juniors get the better of the Storm, with the final reading 2-1 for Peguis. The following day, however, was a totally different story.
After Sunday’s contest, the Storm walked away with a staggering 12-3 victory, making the back-to-back champs 1-1 heading into next week’s home opener against NCN.
Some notable performances from Sunday’s win include Shaden Duliak’s five-goal night, Keestin Danielson’s hat trick, and Logan Grenier’s strong play between the pipes.
In other KJHL news, after going 2-0 over the weekend against NCN, Norway House will now have their sights set on battling another undefeated team in Cross Lake tonight.
