Once again, Midwest Karate hosted their annual Joseph Kryschuck Memorial Friendship Tournament this past weekend at the Scott Bateman Middle School gymnasium.
There were two main focuses for this past weekend’s tournament. First, it gives novice competitors a chance to experience what a tournament entails and what to expect. As for the experienced athletes, the Friendship Tournament allows them to really hone in and further develop their skills before the big National Tournament that takes place in a couple of months.
Athletes from across the North were in attendance to compete in both the choreography aspect of the martial art and the sparring component. All of the tournament results can be found on thepasonline.com.
