Three of the four basketball teams at R.D. Parker Collegiate are coming off exciting weekends after competing in tournaments across the province.

Both the JV and SV girls were at Sanford Collegiate. The JV girls captured the consolation final with a 33–21 win over Lorette. The SV girls finished seventh after defeating Westgate 82–24 in their final game.

Meanwhile, the SV boys competed at Linden Christian School in the 2026 Hoops for Hope Tournament. After falling to Dauphin in the semifinals, the Trojans bounced back with a 69–54 win over Sanford in the third-place game.

Both SV teams will now head to Sturgeon Heights Collegiate for the 2026 HIT Tournament, which will feature several of the province’s premier high school basketball teams. Action begins Wednesday, with a tournament champion crowned on Saturday.
