A total of 9 rinks competed in the Senior Men's and Ladies Bonspiels this past weekend at the Uptown Curling Club in Flin Flon.

 

There were four rinks on the Ladies side and they played a round robin.

 

The Wendy Weseen rink finished first at 3-0 followed by Sue Chrisp at 2-1, Dianne Burwash at 1-2 and Edna Smith at 0-3.

 

The Wendy Weseen rink included Kyla Reierson, Denise Rose and Marlene Gogal.

 

There 5 rinks entered in the Men's.

 

Dave Salahab beat Menno Geisbrecht in the First Event for United Steelworkers and Don Holmes knocked off Skip Martin in the Second Event for Flin Flon Insurance.

 

Dave Salahab's winning rink included Jim Glynn, Wes Hornyak and Lawrence Balfour.

 

Next up will be the Open Mixed Bonspiel the weekend of February the 21st and 22nd followed by the Men's and Ladies Bonspiels March the 13th to the 15th.
