It’s shaping up to be a busy few days for three of the four basketball squads from R.D. Parker Collegiate. To start, both JV teams will play host this Friday and Saturday as the school welcomes teams for the Trojan Basketball Classic. Three schools will compete in each tournament, including Helen Betty Osborne Ininiw Education Resource Centre, Hapnot Collegiate Institute, and R.D. Parker Collegiate.

Meanwhile, the Varsity Boys will hit the road, traveling to the Parkland region to compete in Dauphin’s Varsity Boys Clipper Classic. This tournament will feature a broader field, with eight schools from across the province taking part in a best-on-best bracket competition.

Similar to the tournaments happening locally in Thompson, games tip off on Friday, with a tournament champion to be crowned on Saturday.
