The TNRC volunteer awards are being handed out on Saturday January 24th at 5pm at the Thompson Regional Community Centre, The nomination deadline is January 21st.
There are four individual categories, Oswald Shaw, Executive Director for Thompson Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation tells us the other awards.
“The last three is our organization awards; one is for not for profit or charity that has done a lot for Thompson in the last year. The second award is for a committee, a group or a club. Lastly, we have our business award. Those are for your for profit businesses that have volunteered or have put forward efforts over the last year.”
