You can make it seven straight wins for the Flin Flon Bombers as their powerplay was clicking in Laronge on Friday as the Maroon and White doubled up on the Wolves 6 to 3.
Fresh off a 10 to 3 drubbing of Laronge earlier in the week, Flin Flon continues to dominate their UPL rivals.
The Bomber powerplay is the best in the entire league at 25 % and Flin Flon went 3 for 7 with the extra attacker and that was the biggest difference in the game.
Flin Flon scored two late goals in the opening period with Joey Lies collecting his league leading 18th of the year on the PP. Rhett Ewen would score just 17 seconds later and it looked like the Bombers were on their way, with a 2 to 0 lead after one.
Give the Wolves credit, they came out to play and scored three goals in just over a 7 minute span to stun the Bombers early in the second.
