Bomber Players Contribute To Opening Victory At Viking Cup

The SJHL kicked off the Viking Cup in style yesterday in Camrose Alberta by knocking off the Midland University Warriors 6 to 2.

 

It is a team featuring the premiere 20 year old's out of the SJHL, including three players from the Flin Flon Bombers,  Joey Lies, Reid Arberry and Sam Ward.

 

All three players picked up points in the win yesterday including Arberry who had a goal and an assist, Lies and Ward both picked up an assist. 

 

The Kindersley Klippers Russ Demo led the way with two goals and an assist.

 

This was the SJHL'S first game at the Viking Cup in 20 years.

 

The SJHL is back on the ice tonight as they will face the Czechia Selects  at 6pm.
