High School Basketball season is underway and it is a very busy weekend for both the Hapnot Kings and Queens.

 

The Senior Queens will be in Carberry for the Christmas Classic.

 

The Queens play Souris at 11:45 am  and then take on Major Prat out of Russell at 6:45pm. Playoffs begin Saturday morning at 10am with the final at 2pm.

 

The Senior Kings are in the Pas this weekend for the Bill Macdonald Memorial Tournament.

 

The Kings play two games on Friday including Porcupine Plain at 12:45 and the host team from MBCI at 4:15pm. The Kings will play two more round robin games on Saturday against RD Parker out of Thompson at 12:30 and Hudson Bay at 4pm.

 

The JV Queens are in Cranberry for the Girls JV Classic.

 

They will play four round robin games starting on Friday against the host Raiders at 10am, MBCI out of The Pas 1pm, then Norway House on Saturday at 8am and Cross Lake at noon.
