The Flin Flon Bombers are once again one of the elite junior hockey teams in the country and sit first overall in the SJHL standings at 17-7-0-1.
The Bombers are on a roll after finishing the month of November at 10-1.
They are getting contributions from everyone including 20 year old defenseman Sam Ward who arrived from the WHL in early October.
Ward was on fire in November collecting 12 points in 11 games including 6 goals. So far this season, Ward is 9th in scoring among SJHL Defensemen with 15 points in 15 games and has played a lot less games than the players ahead of him.
The accolades continue to pour in with Ward also being selected the Super U Defenseman Of The Week. Ward picked up 5 points in the two wins over Kindersley on the weekend including 3 goals and 2 assists.
Congratulations are also in order for Bomber Forward Maverick Deslisle who was named the Borgault Forward Of The Week. Deslisle also had a good series against the Klippers picking up 6 points in the two games on the weekend.
So far this year Deslisle has 23 points in 23 games including 9 goals.
