It was a strong showing by the Senior Hapnot Queens Volleyball team who represented the North at Provincials this past weekend in Somerset.

 

The Queens went 2-2 in their pool with wins over Carberry and Immanuel Christian and losses to Prairie Mountain and Gabrielle Roy.

 

Hapnot moved on to the Quarter Finals and beat Goose Lake 25 -19 and 25-19 to advance to the semi's and take on one of the top programs in the entire province in  Warman.

 

Warren was able to prevail 26 to 24 and 25 to 11.

 

Hapnot would then play Rosenort for third and this turned out to be a very exciting game. Rosenort squeaked out a 22-25,25-23 and 15 to 12 win in the tie breaker.

 

All in all a very good season for the Queens who will see a lot of their top players graduate after this season. Among the highlights a sixth straight Zone title and ending the season fourth in the province.
