The Flin Flon Judo Club will be holding a Clinic this upcoming weekend at Hapnot Collegiate. The Flin Flon Judo Club is hosting the two day Judo Saskatchewan event, with guest coach, 6th degree black belt, Dale Bergland.
Dale is the current head of the Judo Saskatchewan Kata Committee, and also sits on the Provincial Grading Board. He will be teaching Kodomono Kata to the Saskatchewan Winter Games athletes, as well as going through the Judo Canada grading syllabus and it's techniques on Saturday.
Sunday he will be conducting a nage no kata clinic, which is needed for gradings green belt and up.
This is the first time Judo Saskatchewan has requested to hold an even in Flin Flon, so they look forward to making it a huge success. They are also hoping to have members from LaRonge and Melfort in attendance. The clinic is open to all members of Judo Saskatchewan.
They will also be conducting Judo classes at Hapnot Collegate on Friday during the regular Phys-ed class times.
This is a big weekend for Flin Flon as they get to showcase their athletes and show what Judo Flin Flon is all about.
