Both the Senior Hapnot Queens and Kings Varsity Volleyball teams were in Swan River for the Doug Oberlin Varsity Volleyball  tournament on the weekend.

The Queens were impressive going 3-0 in the round robin against Swan River, The Pas and Cross Lake.

Their success carried into the playoff round with the Queens beating Swan River in the Semis. That would put them in the final against MBCI out of The Pas with The Pas winning the tournament in straight sets.

The Kings went 4-6 in the round robin beating Minegoziibe, splitting with Swan River and Cross Lake and losing to RD Parker out of Thompson and Cranberry.

Hapnot then dropped a heart breaker to Swan River in the playoff round in three sets and were eliminated. RD Parker beat Cranberry in the final in three sets.
