Kodiaks Lose A Heart Breaker

A great effort from the Creighton Kodiaks 6 man football team ,  who came up just a little short in Hague yesterday afternoon.

The Kodiaks ended up on the wrong end of a 56-50 score and actually had a 12 point lead at half time.

Brayden Church had his most impressive display at quarterback so far this year tossing 5 touchdown passes and scoring one himself with a one yard run plunge from the goal line.

Quinton Lycan hauled in three touchdowns, while Mathew Lavis scored two and PK Pelletier ran for one late in the first half.

The game was supposed to be played in Creighton, but Hague decided not to make the trip so the Kodiaks travelled down to Hague instead.

Creighton is now eliminated from playoff contention and drops to 0-4 on the season.

The good news is they are starting to get healthy and will finally get to play a home game next week. Creighton will host Shellbrook next Wednesday October the 8th with a 4pm kickoff time.

Don't forget that Northland Ford will be on site collecting non-perishable food items on behalf of the Lord's Bounty Food Bank. They will have a F-150 truck where you can drop off your donations.
