The Flin Flon Bombers have added a player with Major Junior hockey experience just in time for their game with the Nipawin Hawks  tonight.

 

The Bombers are pleased to announce that they have added 19 year old forward Jack Martin from the Barrie Colts of the OHL.

 

Martin suited up for 21 games for Barrie last season and added one assist in those games.

 

Flin Flon is excited to add Martin's experience to their forward group and should be a welcome addition.

 

The Bombers will board the bus and head to Nipawin for a key UPL  divisional matchup with both teams undefeated so far this season. 

 

Flin Flon took both games in a home and home with Laronge last weekend by scores of 9 to 4 and 5 to 1 while Nipawin spoiled the party in Melfort knocking off the defending league Champion Mustangs 4 to 3.

 

You can listen to tonight's game from Nipawin on 102.9 CFAR and flinflononlinecom which will be the Hawks home opener. It all begins with the Great North GM Coach's Show at 7:40 and drop of the puck at 8pm, Manitoba time.

 

We will also have tomorrow night's game at the Whitney Forum as the Bombers will host the Melfort Mustangs at 7:30. Tomorrow night’s  game is at 7:30 which means we are on the air at 7:10.
