Another impressive display by the Flin Flon Bombers who wrapped up the pre season Friday,  with another dominating victory taking down the Northern Manitoba Blizzard 9 to 0.

 

Local product Joes Lies had another strong game where he scored a pair of goals and added two assists for a four point game.

 

Leo Seitz also added a pair with the other goals coming from Natan Munier Roberge, Rhett Ewen, Hudson Brehaut, Nathan Lalumiere and Nash Holmes.

 

Devin Peck from Colorado Springs got the start and looked very steady in stopping all 30 shots fired in his direction.

 

The Blizzard went with the tandem of Tysen Endall who played the first period and stopped 8 of 13 before making way for Kevin Podgurny,  who did everything he could to keep his team in the game with 27 saves on 31 shots.

 

Flin Flon will wrap up the season with a perfect 7-0 record out scoring the opposition 49 to 16 and hit the regular season brimming with confidence.

 

It all starts this weekend with the Bombers tangling with the Laronge Ice Wolves in a home and home to start the brand new season. Flin Flon will host Laronge on Friday at the Whitney Forum before heading to Laronge on Saturday.
