The Flin Flon Bombers went into Laronge last night and picked up the 5 to 3 win to go to 2-0 in the pre season.

 

Local product Ryder Mucha held the hot hand as he picked up the hat-trick including an empty netter with only 18 seconds left in the game to seel it for the Maroon and White.

 

The other Bomber goals came from Michael Donovan and Hudson Brehaut who picked up his second of the pre season.

 

Laronge got their goals from new comer Brendan Jones who scored a pair and Jacob Ziller.

 

Both teams used  two goalies last night with the Bombers going with Liam Furey who started and made 16 saves on 17 shots. Wyatt Nelson came in relief and made 14 saves on 16 shots. Laronge went with the tandem of Mason Hiller who stopped 23 of 25 before giving way to Riley Zezel who made 20 saves on 21 shots.

 

The Bombers improve to 2-0 in the pre-season while the Wolves will slip to 1-2.

 

Flin Flon is back in action tomorrow night as they head to The Pas for the second installment of the battle of Northern Manitoba. The Bombers took the first meeting 4 to 2 on Monday night.

 

Game time is 7pm at the Roy H Johnston Arena and will be broadcast on 102.9 CFAR and flinflononline.com with the pre game at 6:45pm.
