U-17 Stars Go 4-4 At Nationals

Unfortunately the U-17 Northern Stars Girls volleyball team have been eliminated from Nationals in Edmonton.

The girls played very well and ended up going 4-4 against some of the top volleyball teams in the country.

After going 1-3 in the round robin the Stars beat Prince Albert in  the Power Pool Play to get to the semi's.

The Stars would come up short against Precision Blue from Alberta and have been eliminated.

This wraps up a great year for this team in just their second season.

The team is coached by Flin Flon's Ray Shirran and Amy Olynik and is made up of pretty much all Flin Flon players including Mackenzie McLean, Blake Shirran, Tesslyn Beauchamp, Lydia Alexander, Jocelyn Kozar, Taylor Burwash, Evalina Dauk and Sadie Hynes. Keira Leefe is from Snow lake and Ruby Karakochuk is from Creighton.
