We are less than two weeks away from the Trout Festival Month Long Fishing Derby.

 

It starts May the 29th  and the entry fee is $30.00 for adults and $15.00 for kids under 15.

 

Fishing Derby tickets can be picked up at Alpine Convenience and T and D Amisk Camp in Denare Beach,  Rubi's Outdoors, Creighton Rec/Tourism Office and the Gateway in Flin Flon.

 

You need to purchase a derby ticket before you start fishing,  and don't forget to take photos of your fish and have them submitted by June the 29th at midnight.

 

Cash prizes will be handed out in the Walleye, Northern Pike and Trout categories with $1,500.00 being awarded for biggest in each species.

 

You can fish on any Manitoba and Saskatchewan lakes between the 54th and 55th parallel.
