Flin Flon Minor Hockey held their AGM this past Tuesday at the Cambrian room at the Victoria Inn.
President Dave McPherson and Vice President Marty Tetlock chaired the meeting and thanked the board, volunteers, coach's, players and parents for a successful year.
Among the highlights was FFMH hosting a very successful U-11 Hockey Provincials at the end of February. This was the first time that Flin Flon hosted a provincial event in more than a decade.
The Norman AGM had to be postponed in Thompson due to all the forest fires.
Enrollment was at about 200 kids signed up for the U-7 to U-18 age divisions and FFMH announced that they will be adding a new U-5 program for the 2025-26 season , and are expecting to add another 40 to 50 kids.
Flin Flon Minor Hockey switched over to electronic game sheets this past season and found this was very beneficial for the coach's who would receive the game sheets right after the game was completed. This also allowed the association to post live scores of games and tournaments on their website.
Due to decent enrollment and fundraisers FFMH is in good financial shape.
The election of officers took place and Dave Mcpherson was re-elected as President for a two year term. Marty Tetlock will remain as Vice President for a two year term.
The rest of the board looks like this.
