The Flin Flon Bombers are excited about their first spring signing.

 

The Bombers announced that they have signed 2007 born defenseman Jared Miskiw from Surrey BC. Miskiw played for the Valley West Giants U-18 AAA program.

 

In 30 games, Jared was over a point-per-game with 12 goals and 26 assists. For his efforts, he was also named to the BCEHL U18 All-Star team.

 

Flin Flon is very excited about this signing and should help anchor the Bomber blue line for many years to come.

 

Jon Klassan, the Flin Flon Bomber Head Scout looks forward to seeing Miskiw in a Bomber uniform soon. “Jared is a player that we feel can come in and play a very strong two-way game. He takes pride in being prepared to battle every time he is on the ice. He’s got a lot of offensive upside as well, which makes him a dangerous player for years to come.” 

 

The Bombers will be announcing other spring camp signings soon and are preparing for their AGM coming up in June.
