The Flin Flon Bombers have announced that they have signed long term Coach and GM, Mike Reagan to a two year contract extension.

 

Reagan has been behind the Bomber bench for the last 18 seasons and is the winingest coach in Bomber history amassing over 500 victories. Over that span,  the Bombers have 5 division titles and have been to the league final 5 times.

 

Mike has also had an opportunity to coach Canada Weston  4 different occasions and has won two Gold medals and came away with a Bronze this past year.

 

Under the guidance of Reagan, the Flin Flon Bomber organization has helped 20 players from their program advance to the NCAA.

 

Reagan went on to say that he is very excited about the make up of his team for the up coming season. " I think if we didn't have the players that we have , I wouldn't be as intrigued about doing a rebuild or anything like that. I am not interested in doing that at this point in my career. The landscape of hockey has changed a lot and you never know from year to year who will come back or go to another league, there is a lot of options out there for guys. We feel as an organization and staff that we have a lot of great pieces that are going to be that much better next year. Obviously there is some work to do in finding a few high end players and guys that will replace the players we lost."

 

The Bombers will start looking to fill those holes with their Spring Camp which will take place in Saskatoon this weekend.
