It was a very cold week for the Big Ice Koop Ski Challenge but despite the weather they  had a new record number of  18 people come out and try the trails.

 

Their km goal of skiing this week was  The Pas to Swan River for 229km, and this weeks skier's came very close at a  combined 218 Km.

 

Draw 1 winner is Jamie Schmidt, who also had the most Km skied this week of 62 km.

(He wins a $25 gift certificate from Orange Toad)

 

Draw 2 winner is for the under 15 category, congratulations to  Macie White 

( $20 gift certificate from Chicken Chef)

 

You can pick your prizes up at the Ski Club Chalet on Monday and Tuesday 4pm-5pm

and Saturday 1pm-4pm from Dennis.

 

The new map for the challenge for Week 4 will be posted on the Flin Flon Ski Club Facebook page.

 

Remember, if you get a newbie to ski any trail they automatically win a prize. Just send in their name. There has been  no newbies the last few weeks.

The  mileage goal this week is to ski from Swan River to Minnedosa which is 288 Km. With the warmer weather, hopefully there will be a lot of people hitting the trails.
