It was a great weekend for both the Senior and JV Queens basketball teams.
The Senior Queens were in Cranberry for the Frontier Collegiate Classic and rolled over the competition with wins over Cross Lake and OCN.
That would put the Queens in the final against the host team from Frontier and the Queens won the game convincingly 60 to 37.
The JV Queens were in Warren Manitoba and they went undefeated beating both the number two and three teams in the entire province. That included an upset win over the number two ranked team, Warren Wildcats 39 to 34 in the final.
