Creighton school hosted the inaugural Caleb Janzen Memorial basketball tournament this past weekend.
Both the Kodiak Boys and Girls played well and got good results.
The Kodiak Girls went 2-1 in the round robin beating Cranberry and Birch Hills, with their one loss coming to MBCI out of The Pas.
The Kodiaks would meet the Pas in the final once again and dropped a nail biter 23 to 21.
It was a perfect weekend for the Kodiak Boys who went 4-0. They beat Cumberland House, Laronge and Hapnot in the round robin. Creighton and Hapnot would square off once again in the final with Creighton winning 72 to 52.
A big thanks to all the spectators who came out and to all the sponsors who made gererous donations.
Next up will be the Kopper Crown Classic at Hapnot this weekend.
