Kodiaks Hand Out Their Hardware

It was a special night for the Creighton Kodiak Football team as they officially wrapped up the season with their Awards Banquet at the Creighton Community Hall.

 

The Kodiaks are coming off one of their strongest years to date finishing the year at 4-2 and finished  second in their conference and also became  the first Northern team to ever make the provincial bracket.

 

This was also the tenth year of the football program that has an overall record of 41-21.

 

Among the highlights of the year included their first ever road win down south in Shellbrook and Josh Trumbley passing for the most touchdowns in a season.

 

Here are the 2024 award winners

 

Rogan Hlady- Special Teams Award and Most Dedicated Player

 

Mathew Lavis- Rookie Of The Year

 

Jordan Donaghy- Most Improved Player

 

Warriors Of The Year- Offense- Kaylab Lycan, Defense Ashton Borden

 

Ethan Lavis and Bodyn Simon - Caleb Janzen Hart Memorial Award

 

Payton Pelletier- Defensive Player Of The Year

 

Josh Trumbley- Offensive Player Of The Year, Most Dedicated Player and Leadership Award.
