Head Coach Ryan Karakochuk comments on taking a northern team to the Provincial bracket for the first time. " I am very happy for the players and coach's, when we entered this league our vision was to make Provincials even take a deep run in Provincials. This is our first crack at playing in a Provincial game and our conference is really hard and all the teams in our conference know how to win. They have always thought of us as a weak team and this year we not only gained respect for our community and team, but we showed when you have the players and the program you can do good things. The guys are excited and they should be."
Kickoff is going to be at 4pm, Manitoba time and don't forget that Northland Ford will be on site and excepting donations on behalf of the local food bank.
It is the We Scare Hunger Campaign and they will be accepting non persihable food items and every day items like tooth paste, toilet paper, soap, shampoo and anything else you can think of.
It is already determined that Creighton will kick off Provincials in Rosetown on Saturday October the 21st at 1pm.
