It is the biggest golf tournament in Northern Manitoba and Saskatchewan, the Walt Cunningham Labor Day Classic which wrapped up at the  Phantom Lake Golf Club yesterday afternoon.

 

Over 60 golfers took part in the historic event and it was a familiar  name that took home Northern Manitoba's biggest golf prize.

 

Congratulations to Chris Bortis who wins the Walt for the second time in the last three years, and his third career title.

 

Bortis dominated the championship round with only one bogey and three birdies against a very deep field.
