It is day number five at the Manitoba Summer games in Dauphin.
The U-16 and 17 North Girls Basketball team featuring 4 girls from Flin Flon picked up a 76 to 44 win over West number two yesterday afternoon.
They would drop their second game to West number one 52 to 42 and sit 1-1 in the round robin as they prepare for the playoff round starting today.
Team North will face Team South at 10:45 this morning.
Flin Flon is represented by Ari Bellisle, Taylor Jessica Burwash, Elynn Smith and Sadie Hynes. The Coach is Connie Atkinson.
It has been a tough start for the U-14 Boy's Soccer Team. They dropped both their games on Thursday to Team East and West 2 and are still looking for their first goal of the tournament.
They will try to get back on track today vs South number two.
Flin Flon is well represented including Elijah Barack Ado Ishaka, Grayson Longmore, Drew Patterson, Jaeger Dominey,Jakob Kozar, Jaxson Gorrell and Westyn Hlady.
U-14 Boys and Girl's volleyball has wrapped up.
The U-14 Boy's played well dropping their game to South White in the semi's in three sets 25-21, 18-25 and 6-15.
They lost the Consolation Final to West Orange 29-26, 14-25 and 13-15.
The U-14 Girls also made the semi's losing to Team East in three sets 15-25, 27-25 and 7-15. They played South Red in the Consolation dropping both sets 9-25 and 4-25.
The Flin Flon players included Alexa Santos, Nicole Dimapiles, Ava Etienne, Violet Eggert, Elynn Smith. Jocelyn Kozar and Gracie McInstosh.
Drew Patterson was the lone Boy's player from Flin Flon.
