The 2013 JR Northstars officially wrapped up their season earlier today at a tournament in Brandon.
The Northstars went 1-1 in the round robin with a 6 to 4 loss in their first game against the Wheatland Wild, but rebounded with a 4 to 1 win over the Central Plains Red Wings.
That knocked them down to the B-Pool where they faced off against the Stealth Wolves and Kane Davis scored the winning goal as they beat them 7 to 6.
They played a good game against Yellowhead but lost a tough battle 7 to 4 and finish the tournament in 6th spot.
They end up going 2-2 and really improved over the course of the year and have 5 players from Flin Flon including forwards Aiden Kemp, Brody Cooper and Luke Kowbell, defenseman Quinn Trubiak and goalie Eli Chrisp.
