The Norman Northstars had a rough time on the road this week, even after forward Brady Krentz was named CCM Player of the Week.
The Northstars continued to struggle against the 2nd place Winnipeg Wild as they posted a 4-1 loss on Friday.
Saturday was more of an equal match up as the 10th place Northstars were edged out by the 11th place Interlake Lightning 7-6.
The Manitoba U-18 AAA Hockey League announed Krentz as the Chicken Chef Player of the Week last week. It states the 17-year-old is tied for fifth in the league for scoring.
