Winnipeg Jets Look To Continue Strong Play Against Sharks

The Winnipeg Jets will be looking to expand their lead in the competative Central Division tonight as they visit the Sharks in San Jose.

 

The Jets are 3-2 in their last five games. They're coming a pair of one-goal games, both victories, over Calgary (Saturday) and Vancouver (Sunday).

 

The Sharks on the other hand are 4-1 in their last five, including a 2-1 victory over Pittsburgh (Saturday) and a 6-2 stomping of the Ducks (Sunday).

 

Winnipeg, who currently sits second in the Western Conference with 63 points, is lead up front by Captain Blake Wheeler and sophomore Patrick Laine. Wheeler currently sits eighth in league scoring with 54 points (14G, 40A) in 48 games.

 

The two teams last faced off on January 7th in Winnipeg. The Jets won the game 4-1.
