The Norman Northstars are heading back north after a disapointing start to the season. 

The NorMan squad dropped this afternoon's game in Kenora 3-0 to the Thistles. Kenora scored once in the opening frame before potting two in the second. Cooper Witherspoon had a two goal afternoon for the Thistles. The final shot count was 36-19 in favour of Kenora.

The Northstars now focus their attention on the Parkland Rangers, who will be in Thompson for a pair of games this coming Friday and Saturday. 

Both games will be played at the C.A. Nesbitt Arena in the T.R.C.C. starting at 7:30pm. The Friday night game can be heard live on 102.9 CHTM.
