Two nights after the Flin Flon Bombers handed the Battlefords North Stars just their second loss in two months, the two teams went back at it in Battlefords again, and this time the Stars got the upper hand, coming away with a 3-2 regulation decision.

Layne Young (1g-1a), Ben Allen and Logan Nachtegaele did the scoring for the North Stars (27-7-0-0) while Coby Downs chipped in with a pair of assists.  Taryn Kotchorek earned the win making 23/25 saves.

Nick Shumlanski (SH) and Troy Williams scored third period goals for the Bombers (21-8-2-2) and Zach Robidoux made 39/42 saves.

The next day, The Flin Flon Bombers scored five powerplay goals but the Kindersley Klippers still came up with an 8-5 win over the visiting Bombers.
