The Norman Wild extended their win streak to three games after taking care of the Interlake Lightning in both games over the weekend.

The first game was an overtime affair when Kali Cummins cored two minutes into OT. Interlake tied the game late to force extra time. Megan Quesnel had the other goal for the Wild.

In the second game, Saige McKay scored two goals to lead the Wild past Interlake with a 3-0 win. The line of McKay, Carrigan Umpherville and Emily Daniels were on the ice for all three goals, with Daniels assisting on all three goals.

Goaltender Marley Quesnel got her first shutout of the year and her second victory.

The Wild move in to sixth place with the two wins. They are two points ahead of central Plains and four points back of Eastman.
