Some employees were taken for precautionary medical assessments after an underground equipment fire at a Thompson mine Thursday.
Ray Solski, who handles public relations and communications for the company, provided this statement to CHTM.
The company says the fire was extinguished and all underground personnel were accounted for.
Solski was only able to provide the statement and could not answer further questions.
The company did not say how many employees received medical assessments or provide an update on their condition.
The incident remains under review.
