Manitoba RCMP are renewing their appeal for information in a Thompson homicide that remains unsolved after 19 years.

Shortly before one a.m. on October 26th, 2007, officers responded to a home invasion on Yale Avenue.

They found 61-year-old Bernie Carlson shot dead in the hallway. His wife, Elva, was found unharmed.

No arrests have been made.

Investigators announced a tip-line Monday, urging anyone who remembers something suspicious or out of place that night to come forward.

Police say they have continued working to find answers for Carlson’s family.
