Canada Post has issued four new stamps ahead of Orange Shirt Day tomorrow.
Each stamp is shaped like an orange T-shirt and features artwork by an Indigenous artist.
Three reflect the experiences of First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities, while the fourth honours Mother Earth.
The designs were developed with guidance from the Survivors Circle of the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation.
The release also marks a milestone in British Columbia: this year’s graduates are the first there to have observed Orange Shirt Day throughout their school years, starting in kindergarten.
