Tomorrow, people will gather at Thompson’s train station to honour the children taken from their families and sent south to residential schools. MKO Grand Chief Garrison Settee says survivors’ voices will be at the heart of the day.
The pipe ceremony begins at 7:30 tomorrow morning at 1310 Station Road.
An opening prayer and free pancake breakfast follow at 9, and the memorial drive leaves the train station at 11.
