On September 25, 2026, at 10:04 pm., Thompson RCMP received a report of an armed robbery and possible assault at a residence on Mitishto Bay.

 

Officers responded immediately locating a 36-year-old female sitting on the front porch with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

 

Police learned three male suspects wearing masks, arrived at the residence, two of which assaulted the victim with a knife. One of the suspects was known to the victim. 

 

All three suspects then fled in her vehicle.

 

The victim was transported to hospital by EMS in stable condition.

 

Police began patrols for the vehicle and located it later that night abandoned at a residence on Cree Road. The suspects were not located.

 

Thompson RCMP have issued a Warrant of Arrest out for 39-year-old Donald Massan in relation to this incident, and is facing the following charges:

• Aggravated assault;
• Disguised with intent to commit offence;
• Robbery- with other offensive weapon; and
• Motor vehicle theft when violence used

 

Massan is described as 6’2” tall with a heavy build. He is still believed to be in the Thompson area.

 

The other two male suspect’s identities are unknown at this time.

 

RCMP are asking the public not to approach them but to report any information or sightings immediately to police.
