The next recipient of the Order of Thompson will be revealed this weekend.

The Thompson Community Foundation is holding its 2026 gala this Saturday, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall.

The award recognizes someone who has dedicated their time and skills to helping the Thompson community.

This year’s gala will also feature a special tribute to former Thompson mayor and former Community Futures North Central Development manager Tim Johnston.

Tickets are $50 individually or $300 for a table of six.
