Thompson residents will come together Wednesday for the annual Take Back the Night Walk.
Organized by the Thompson Crisis Centre, the walk aims to raise awareness about sexual and gender-based violence, while showing support for survivors in the community.
Anyone wanting to take part can meet at the Thompson Co-op Gas Bar at 179 Thompson Drive Wednesday.
The event runs from 5 to 8 p.m., with snacks and drinks provided.
The annual walk brings community members together to stand in solidarity with survivors and take a stand against violence.
This year’s walk is sponsored by the Thompson Crisis Centre, Thompson Co-op Gas Bar and Tim Hortons.
