With students back in the classroom, what they eat during the day can have a big impact on their ability to stay focused and energized.
Nutritionist Joanna Ledoux says hunger can make it much harder for students to concentrate in class.
Joanna recommends trying to include vegetables or fruit, protein and whole grains in school lunches.
She says parents don’t need to overcomplicate it — sandwiches, cheese and crackers, soup, cereal or even leftovers can all work.
